![]() It's funny (& awesome) how all these years later, thanks to emulation (& DOSBox), I can play all these great classic games, for free. But it was 1987, I was 16yo & making $100 a day off the books (which was all the money in the world to me then), & I REALLY wanted to play the game! I also bought Command HQ (great game! /1 of the 1st RTS, ran slooow on my Tandy) & also Star Fleet I - The War Begins! (1986) Interstel Corporation (which I never got to play/computability issues). Introducing Dark Empire, the deepest fantasy, strategy MMO for mobile. Just to play this game, I ended up spending $900+ (PC, 640k RAM, & TV/VGA adapter). I saw this game a local computer shop & fell in love! I literally bought my 1st IBM compatible PC (A Tandy EX 1000), specifically to play Empire! Previously I had a Vic20 & C64 which anybody who's ever had 1 knows that you simply hook up to any TV, pop in a disk, & play. Also, we try to upload manuals and extra documentation. I started out with Empire - Wargame of the Century, (198 Interstel Corporation, for IBM PC. We may have multiple downloads for few games when different versions are available. It wasn't actually this/C64 version, although I WISH I had known it was ALSO available for C64 (I'll explain). Empire is the game that introduced me to & is responsible for my nearly 25 year long love of strategy/war games.
